Pasos 2: Student's Book Euro Version

Following on from Pasos 1, Pasos 2 was first published in 1992 and the course has become recognised as a market leader. The two books together form a unit of learning materials which take adult learners of Spanish from absolute beginners to a strong intermediate standard. The 2nd edition of Pasos 1 was published in July 01 and the revision of Part 2, along with the brand new Pasos 2 Activity Book, will bring the course completely up to date. The language skills learnt in Pasos 1 are consolidated and extended enabling learners to develop an ability to communicate confidently at a higher level. The fourteen thematically linked lessons present a wide variety of authentic reading and listening materials as well as speaking and writing tasks based on everyday situations in a Spanish and Latin American context. There are regular opportunites for revision, and vocabulary and grammar summaries are provided both at the end of each lesson and in full at the end of the book.

This new edition retains the familiarity of the previous edition, maintaining the current simple-to-use format and page layouts while substituting new artwork, photos and realia where necessary in order ot bring the book right up to date. Texts have been improved and updated to reflect modern changes and include references to the Internet and technological advances. The accompanying cassettes have not been rerecorded, enabling students and teachers using the new edition to continue using the current recorded material.
