Convalescing after his recent injuries, Albert Smith is taking it easy … until a face from his past appears on his TV screen and everything changes.

There’s an old score to settle and this time his quest for justice will take him from his quiet English home to the foot of the Alps.

With Rex faithfully at his side, they hunt for a criminal no one else on the planet even knows exists.

You see, it’s all about gold. A dangerous word too many people have killed and died for. There is treasure in the ground, buried more than eighty years ago by a man the Nazis entrusted to ship their plunder back to Berlin.

The people looking for it will do anything to protect their secret. Even kill.

So when an old man and his dog come nosing around … well, let’s just say things are going to get deadly.
