Mynydd Parys

Once a major world-source of copper, 'Mynydd Parys' is now a shocking moonscape of land on the otherwise fertile island of Anglesey. Accompanied by photographer Steve Makin, Parry has created in verse a memorable record of the mines as they are now, and as they were at the end of the last century, when they employed hundreds of men often worked in brutal conditions.
