We kick off this issue with some core material on the idea of discipleship. The twelve guys who hung around with Jesus are generally known as `The Disciples'. So can we be disciples of Jesus too? And if so, what does that mean for how we think, speak and act?

In our Hot Potatoes we'll look first at the effect of peer pressure. How can we withstand pressure from others and choose to do what is right? Next we look at humour - a beautiful thing if used well. Even Jesus used humour to communicate truth. What is humour good for and how can we use it to build up others? Last we unpack the idea of obedience. Who should we obey, how and when?
