Life Themes is a drama anthology of 12 plays that can be bundled with the Theatre in Your Life or any Cengage introduction to theatre textbook. Edited by authors Robert Barton and Annie McGregor, this anthology provides complete scripts for the 12 plays that are discussed in Theatre in Your Life's "Dramatic Interlude" sections. The Anthology is set up to mirror the Interludes with 6 Themes (2 plays in each), "Love," "War," "Generations," "Rebellion," "Dreams," and "Values." Each theme includes an introductory paragraph on the topic and why dramatists are drawn to writing about it. For each play, the editors have provided historical context and a brief biography about the playwright.
