This volume contains revised papers from the 2nd International Workshop on Interfaces to Database Systems (IDS94), held at Lancaster University, from 13-15 July 1994. The workshop aimed to develop an interaction between the design of database systems and user interfaces. It covered a range of issues, including data visualization, applications of computer graphics and virtual reality, formal models of user interfaces, and evaluation methods for designers of database user interfaces.
