Haptic

The study of the haptic system, may compared to that of the auditory, visual, or vestibular systems. In the first part, this book covers the biological aspects of the haptic system including the biomechanics, anatomy, physiology, perception and behavior. The second part considers the engineering aspects of haptic and tactile stimulators including vibrotactile, force feedback, shape displays and tactile displays as well as the attending control and software techniques.
