Synopsis

Is the writing on the Wall for Graham Pilgrimm?

Five years after the dramatic events that saw Graham
Pilgrimm, a mild mannered middle-aged local government officer, clear his name
after being framed for murder, he now finds himself a successful writer,
married with a family, and living the life of his dreams in a picture postcard
cottage in the Yorkshire Dales.

All is not as it seems though. There are tensions in his
marriage, threatened further by other players in the wings. An offer of a
week’s work, writing and filming a walk along Hadrian’s Wall, presents an
opportunity for a fresh start on his return. However, an earlier case of
writer’s block has inadvertently placed his life in mortal peril from an enemy
far more dangerous than anything he had to face five years ago.

Graham will not only have to draw on all of his own
resilience and courage for his survival, but also the resources of his
government agent sister and his well-meaning but largely inadequate friends.
