When a death occurs it tends to take us by surprise and arrangements for the funeral often need to be made in a few days. This book is designed to encourage the bereaved to take part in the planning of the funeral services, and contains an anthology of prayers, readings, hymns and music, drawn from a wide range of faiths and traditions. Material is included which is appropriate to different circumstances of death, to deaths at differnt ages and stages, and which reflects different ages and stages, and which reflects different attitudes to death.
