This special topics volume "Fluid Mechanics and Heat Transfer in Applied Engineering" contains some recent results in the area of computational research on the mixed and forced convection heat transfer from the confined obstacle cylinder and fluid flow for film cooling. We hope that the presented modest effort and results will be useful for different fields of engineering applications as well as academic researches.
