The collection examines the forces that have shaped Turkish foreign policy in the Third republic period, the figures that determined it, and their concerns. The contributors discuss questions vital to the research of foreign policy including: what were the influencing forces that shaped foreign policy and political behaviour in the international arena? To what extent have political figures, interest groups and ideological circles influenced Turkey's international political agenda?
