Computer-Based Support for Clinical Guidelines and Protocols: Proceedings of EWGLP 2000

A compilation of papers presented at the First European Workshop for Guidelines and Protocols (EWGLP 2000) held in Leipzig, Germany in November 2000. It includes contemporary research results and proposals for future projects from researchers based in Austria, Canada, The Czech Republic, England, France, Italy, Ireland, Singapore and the US. The papers describe advances in the use of various computer based technologies employed in the support of guidelines- and protocol-based health care. These include ontological knowledge and software engineering, workflow management, data warehousing and data mining.
