Circulation

In this artist’s book, Sherman McMinn uses the structure of the screen and the preview window to place his work in dialogue with a shifting arrangement of other artworks. In the resulting series of collages, sequences of portraits, windows and still lifes occur and re-occur against a layered ground of artworks whose common themes encompass the body, architecture, history, language, appropriation, reproduction and distribution.
