Beautiful Baking

A collection of Jane's favourite baking recipes, either classics or new variations on a theme, and including decorating ideas as well as short-cuts for when you're in a hurry. There are tips on what kind of chocolate to use or which vanilla extract is best, advice on baking tins and ingredients, and a section of icing ideas.

Some of the bakes included are: classics such as Black Forest gateau, Madeira cake and macaroons; chocolate treats such as a Swiss roll, American brownies and chocolate caramel squares; pretty quick biscuits, yummy muffins, a special occasion gingerbread, foolproof meringues and malted fruit loaf - something for everyone.
