Back to Basics

Covering mathematics for children aged eight to nine, this is one of a series designed to encourage parental involvement in a method of combining play and learning at home. The series aims to provide an opportunity for children to practise the basic skills learned at school under the National Curriculum, and to help them grow in confidence as they build the foundations required for educational success. Each book contains topic/skill pages, with quick reminders and examples, followed by a number of varied questions and exercises, and space is provided for answers to be written or drawn.
