Synopsis

This text provides a full range of application exercises aimed at providing the professional with experience in ArcView functionality and customization. The book can be used as a companion to "INSIDE ArcView" or as a stand-alone primer. Early chapters focus on the basic tools and functions of ArcView document types, whilst subsequent chapters highlight advanced analysis and functions in the context of real-world applications. The final series of exercises culminate in the deployment of a customized end-user application, complete with a customized user interface. The CD includes ESRI's "ArcView Data Publisher", in which to test ArcView.
