Applying Expert Systems Technology to Business

Intended for expert systems courses, this text has four objectives: to give a framework for determining which business problems can be addressed by expert system technology; to teach a knowledge engineering methodology for business applications; to give an understanding of and experience with the interfaces between expert system technology, Lotus-compatible worksheets and dBASE-compatible files; and to teach the coding techniques of an expert system tool (VP Expert).
