Anti-D: The Paradox and the Evidence

This text addresses a crucial issue in midwifery practice - the routine postnatal administration of Anti-D immunoglobulin to rhesus negative women with rhesus positive babies. The author draws upon her experience of reflective practice to challenge this intervention and to highlight the paradox between current physiological approaches to childbearing and routine immunization.
