Anatomy Acts Object Guide: How We Come to Know Ourselves

This guide gives information about individual items included in the Anatomy Acts touring exhibition (2006-7). The objects were selected from Scottish medical museums, university teaching, archive and library departments, as well as fine art collections, and health boards. They span more than 500 years of creative development and represent where the worlds of art and science meet and where ideas are exchanged. Anatomy Acts was the largest touring exhibition of its kind ever undertaken in Scotland and was nominated for the Gulbenkian Prize in 2007.
