An Introduction to Applied Bayesian Methods

Bayesian computational methods have seen rapid growth in the past decade and are now being used in expanding number of different areas, such as medicine, pyschology, sociology and education. This text presents the details of applied Bayesian methods in a style accessible to a non-mathematical audience. Topics covered include basic Bayesian influence, Markov chains and modelling. Each chapter explains the relevant techniques and illustrates the method with worked examples. Set problems - a mixture of technical and applied questions - are provided.
