Acarology: Proceeding of the 10th International Conference

This work is an overview of the international research on ticks, mites and other parasites - the most diverse group of living organisms in the world. The outcome of a conference of acarologists, it includes major reviews of all current research including mites as bioindicators, modern techniques for identifying mites, advances in acarine diversity and systematics, mites as biological control agents, use of genetic markers in population studies, plant and mite interactions and human and livestock diseases transmitted by ticks and other parasites.
