20 Legends: Hull FC

The book is the story of 20 rugby league legends who have starred for the great Hull FC. Dating from both the club's early and recent history, most of the legends earned representative honours and about half were locally-born heroes. There are other common denominators told in the tales of the 20 ----- there are those who came from prominent rugby-league families; there are those who died tragically young; there are those who are remembered for seminal moments in the club's history; and there are those who combined their sporting careers with a variety of separate jobs, such as professional driving; working in the club and pub licensing trade; working in the fish industry; school teaching; telephone engineering; running a corner-shop; and working in the mining industry.Featuring icons of the game including: Jack Harrison, Johnny Whitely, Clive Sullivan and Kirk Yeaman, 20 Legends: Hull FC brings together the stories of some of the greatest stars of the East Yorkshire Club
