Patrick Leigh Fermor was an adventurer, traveller, soldier and writer. Best known for his travel writing, Paddy’s journey through life was documented in a series of letters, all of which exude energy and passion. Addressed to figures such as Deborah Devonshire, Nancy Mitford and Lawrence Durrell, they contain insights into his everyday life; ranging from humorous mishaps to reflections of his extreme curiosity.

Paddy’s first collection of letters, selected and edited by Adam Sisman; Dashing for the Post spanned over 70 years of writing and was published in 2017. More Dashing is the second collection of Paddy’s letters that have been carefully selected and edited also by Adam, and carefully present a further look at his eventful life.
