An Evening with Christopher Eccleston and AJ Hartley

Actor Christopher Eccleston, most famous for playing the 9th Doctor Who, the A Word and Malkith in Thor, will be in conversation with bestselling author of Cold Bath Street A J Hartley.

They will be talking about writing in the wake of their fathers’ deaths, setting books in the North and the process of writing itself. The event will be chaired by Guardian book critic, Imogen Russell Williams.

 Eccleston has recently revealed all in a new autobiography about his fraught past called “I Love the Bones of You: My Father And The Making Of Me” He will be available to sign copies of the book at the event. A J Hartley’s Cold Bath Street, written after his father’s death and narrated by Christopher Eccleston, became an international bestseller last year; the direct sequel, “Written Stone Lane”, is launching at this event and Hartley will be available to sign copies.
