Celebrating Two Great Divas, Maria Callas and Judy Garland, at Hatchards, Piccadilly

We are thrilled to announce a very special evening in celebration of Maria Callas and Judy Garland with novelists Daisy Goodwin and Susie Boyt.

Daisy's brilliant new novel Diva re-imagines the life of 'la divina' - the divine opera soprano Maria Callas, whilst Susie Boyt has examined fandom and obsession in My Judy Garland Life.

Together this evening, the authors will discuss the similarities and differences of these two brilliantly talented women who rose as stars to the celebrity firmament, and how they coped with life in the public limelight.
