Windows 3.1 Programming: An Introduction

This is an introductory volume to programming in Microsoft Windows 3.1. The book opens with the basic Windows concepts, shows readers how to write simple applications, and how to program with icons, menus and dialogue. The authors assume a background in C since numerous programming examples written in C/C++ are presented. Borland C++ and Microsoft compilers are discussed. The authors also cover more advanced concepts such as the use of Windows graphics, equations for mathematical and scientific programming, and class libraries.
